IRSIAC'2026 — the 1st International Conference on Innovative Research in Systems, Intelligent Applications and Computing, organized by the LabSiV Laboratory and the Faculty of Sciences of Ibn Zohr University — is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, research ethics, and professional conduct throughout the submission, review, and publication process.

The conference organizers, editors, reviewers, and authors are expected to adhere to internationally recognized principles of responsible research and scholarly publishing. This statement outlines the standards that apply to everyone taking part in IRSIAC'2026, from initial submission through Microsoft CMT to inclusion in the conference proceedings.

Our Principles

Originality & Plagiarism

All manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are responsible for properly acknowledging the work of others. Every submission is screened for textual similarity prior to review, and manuscripts exceeding a similarity threshold of 15–20% will not be considered for publication. Duplicate publication and inappropriate reuse of previously published material are treated as serious violations of academic integrity.

Peer Review & Confidentiality

Every submission undergoes a double-blind review by two to three independent members of the Scientific/Programme Committee, with a fourth reviewer consulted for borderline cases. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and confidentially, based on originality, technical soundness, significance, clarity, and relevance. Reviewers must not use unpublished material obtained through the review process for personal or professional purposes.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and members of the Organizing and Programme Committees must disclose any personal, professional, financial, or institutional relationship that could influence a submission, review, or editorial decision. Reviewers are expected to decline any assignment where such a relationship could compromise their impartiality.

Research Misconduct

IRSIAC'2026 does not tolerate research misconduct in any form, including fabrication or falsification of data, plagiarism, duplicate submission, or manipulation of results. Where concerns about research misconduct arise, the Organizing and Editorial Committees will investigate the matter and take appropriate action, which may include rejection or removal of the work from the proceedings.

Authorship & Responsibilities

All individuals listed as authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and preparation of the manuscript, and must approve the final version submitted for publication. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the work presented and for obtaining any permissions required for copyrighted material included in their submission.

Editorial Responsibility

The Organizing Committee and Proceedings Editors are responsible for ensuring the review and selection process is fair and transparent. Editorial decisions are based on scientific quality, originality, relevance, and ethical compliance — never on personal, institutional, or commercial considerations. Only manuscripts that complete peer review and satisfy these standards are included in the proceedings.

Reporting a Concern

If you believe a submission, a published paper, or a member of the IRSIAC'2026 community may have violated these principles, please let the Organizing Committee know. Reports are treated confidentially and reviewed promptly.
